Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to count page loads. That is the only analytics we run: page-load pings only — no ad trackers, no event tracking. If you would rather not be counted, any standard content blocker stops the Analytics tag.

Accounts and sign-in

If you sign in, we store your email address and sign-in records in our database (hosted by Supabase). Sign-in links are sent through our email provider (Resend). We never see or store a password.

Briefs

A brief you draft stays in your browser (local storage) until you save it — clearing your browser data clears it. When you save a brief while signed in, it is stored against your account in our database. Saved briefs that are still drafts expire after 90 days of inactivity; deleting your account deletes your briefs.

Submitting the brief is a form POST — your answers never ride in the page address (URL). Only an opaque reference for your results page appears in the address bar, the results page is excluded from search engines, and our analytics is set up so it never receives them. The typed description you use to start a brief from the home page or the register search is handed over out of the address bar — with scripting available, it is held only in your browser for that step and never placed in a page address, so it does not enter your browser history or our host’s standard security logs. Without scripting, the description appears in the page address for that first hop, like any page address. Either way, it is only stored by us if you keep going with the brief.

When you submit a brief, a copy of your answers is kept on our server for up to 7 days so the results page can show it — it is attached to no account, only the opaque reference leads to it, and it is deleted automatically after 7 days.

Forms

We run three forms: a contact form, a register-interest form for partners who want to claim or correct their listing, and a launch-updates list. What you send is stored in our database: your name, your email address, and your message — plus, for the contact form, the topic you pick from the list; and for register interest, your company name, whether you’re claiming or correcting, and, if you give it, your listing’s address on this site. The launch-updates list stores your email address only.

Submissions are write-only from your side: someone browsing the site cannot read them. Only the team can, and only to handle your request — a person reads every submission, and nothing is automated. We don’t send marketing email and we don’t sell or share what you send.

To have your form data deleted, send the request through any form. We action deletion requests within 10 business days.

Hosting

Our hosting provider keeps standard security logs, which may include your IP address.

Partner listings

Facts on partner profiles come from public sources, and each claim is labelled with its source and date.
