How to report an error
Every claim on a profile names its source and the date we checked it — if a claim is wrong, that is exactly what to tell us. There are two routes, both site forms (we don’t list an email address; the forms are the reliable path and confirm receipt on submit):
If you are the partner or ISV on the profile: use the register interest form, pick “correct”, and tell us what changed. This is also how you claim an unclaimed listing.
Everyone else: use the contact form and describe the error. The form is read by a person — nothing is automated and nothing is published from it.
What to include
So a correction can be actioned in one pass, include: the profile address on this site; the exact claim you’re flagging; a source that supports the correction (a public link is best); and, if the listing is yours, your name and role so we know who’s correcting it. A correction without a source may still be reviewed, but it can’t replace a sourced claim with an unsourced one — the evidence standard works in both directions.
What happens next
The form confirms your submission on screen — that is the receipt; we don’t reply by email. From there: a person reads it; we check it against the claim’s existing source and yours; if it passes, the profile is corrected and the claim’s check date is updated — the new date on the corrected claim is the visible record that a correction happened. If we don’t change anything, the claim keeps its original source and date; nothing is silently edited either way.
Acknowledgement and review times
The form’s on-screen confirmation is the receipt that your report arrived and is in the review queue. We haven’t published review times yet; when they are set — with legal review — they will be stated here.
Urgent issues
Urgent security, privacy, or legal problems — a live vulnerability, or anyone’s personal data exposed on this site — go through the contact form with “Something else” selected and the urgency in the first line of the message. These are escalated to the founder’s office directly, not held in the standard review queue.
If you disagree with the outcome
Resubmit through the same form with the further evidence, and say it’s a dispute — disputes are reviewed beyond the first pass, and unresolved ones are decided by the founder’s office. We would rather re-examine than defend: the register is only worth what its accuracy is worth.
Revision history
Corrections are visible on the profile itself: every claim carries its source and check date, so a corrected claim shows its new date, and anything that couldn’t be confirmed is labelled as such rather than quietly reworded. Profiles don’t keep a public change-log; the dated claims are the history.
Deleting what you sent
To have your form submission deleted, say so through any form — the process and timing are on the privacy page.
